I loved my time at Sidney, thanks to the staff and my friends for making it so. I always enjoy returning. I would like to make this donation so the College can continue its work supporting and encouraging applications from students from a wide range of backgrounds.

 I am making this donation in memory of my late father - Colin Stevenson - a Sidney alumnus. He loved the college and donated from his graduation in 1954 until he died in 2020. He felt it was important for alumni to ‘give back’ and today (12 June) by a strange coincidence would have been his 91st.

 I look back on my days at Sidney with huge affection. I arrived feeling unsure coming from a state school and ordinary background but discovered it was an inclusive supportive place that gave me so many opportunities and introduced me to some of the greatest academic minds and lifelong friends
